What Is PSI?

PSI is a simple, web-based personality and behavioral strengths assessment inventory. It provides participants with an objective, non-judgmental profile to rank their job, career and motivational interests against the classic Hippocratic Model (4-quadrant grid). Unlike similar instruments that use this grid model to "label" people into one of four categories, PSI recognizes that the complexity of our personality does not fit into a single dimension. The resulting feedback allows participants to see their diverse interests and strengths in relative proportion to one another, as well as gain greater appreciation and respect for people who are different.

PSI also provides a detailed behavioral assessment of participants' personality and relational interaction within PSI's "Behavioral Dashboards". These dashboards identify behavioral style and perspective by focusing on an individual's strengths and contrasting those strengths with others' strengths: this further neutralizes the judgments people tend to make of one another. These dashboards measure behavior in the following key relationship and job-related areas:

  • working with others
  • dealing with change
  • preferred pace
  • personal identity
  • asserting yourself
  • expressing your feelings
  • attention to detail

PSI offers a low cost, turnkey solution for assessment, training and coaching, all within a user-friendly online package. Retailing at $29.95 and offering a volume discount pricing schedule, PSI includes a standard 11-page report, a 1-page profile summary, and a 28-page career planning workbook. The package also includes free access to an in-depth library of video streaming coaching modules, as well as a series of training articles that teach the participant how to interpret and apply his/her PSI Profile. For organizational clients, this online support system also serves as an efficient, free, and geographically-dispersed train-the-trainers program available 24/7, worldwide.

PSI was designed to take the mystique and fear out of behavioral assessment and feedback. It was developed within a lay-language environment and application that does not require the expense of certification, ongoing recertification, or an outside consultant. It represents a significant, ground breaking Internet delivery system in the professional development and career planning industry for a very affordable price.
